Fast-paced intrigue and suspense of global proportions
Is the curse of the Hope Diamond real, or just a legacy of greed?
When international jewel thieves attempt to steal the Hope Diamond from the Smithsonian Institute, only its curator, Dr. Abigail Mitchell, stands in their way. Abby soon realizes she alone holds the pieces to the complicated puzzle in this deadly game of illegal art collectors.
Abbys faith is put to the ultimate test as she confronts the father who abandoned her, the betrayal of the only man she has ever loved, and the possibility that she may lose her life because of the legendary gem.

ABOUT ARIEL
I am the daughter of an acclaimed and eccentric artist, and given my “unconventional” childhood, had ample time to explore the intricacies of story telling. I was raised at the top of the Rocky Mountains with no running water or electricity, and lived out the books I read while running barefoot through the sagebrush. My mother read to me by the light of a kerosene lantern for well over a decade, long after I could devour an entire novel in the course of a day. Authors such as C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkein, George MacDonald, and L.M. Montgomery were the first to capture my heart and I have grown to love many others since.
I first came to love Jesus through the power of story and I hope to serve him as I write my own.
Today I write, read, and live in Texas with my husband and four young sons. I have a penchant for adrenaline-infused madness such as rock climbing, running marathons, and jumping off bridges – as if raising four pre-school boys were not adventure enough. My days are filled with toothless grins, muddy hands, and a never ending stream of words that try to find their way to my laptop.
